  • 750 ml red wine (any type of wine)
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • 15 gloves depending on how much you like their taste and aroma.


  1. Put everything in a big pan and bring to a simmer.
  2. Simmer in medium-low temperature for around 20-25 minutes.
  3. Let it cool completely, remove the cloves and transfer it into clean glass bottles.
  4. Keep in the fridge for up to 2-3 months.
