Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain brown rice
  • 2½ cup water


Method

  1. Rinse and drain rice. Bring water to a boil and stir in rice. When water returns to a boil, reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 40-50 minutes, until rice is tender and most liquid has been absorbed. Turn off heat and leave rice in the covered pot for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
