This Holiday Spiced Cranberry Cocktail can be made non-alcoholic or spiked with rum! It is made with real cranberries and infused with orange and cinnamon.

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 6 cups water
  • ¾ cup maple syrup
  • 8 whole allspice berries
  • 4 cloves
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 strips orange zest
  • 1 star anise


  1. Add the cranberries and water to a blender. Blend on high until the cranberries are pulverized and well mixed into the water.

    Pour into a Dutch oven and add in the remaining ingredients. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer.

    Simmer for 60 minutes. Strain the mixture through cheesecloth or a nut milk bag and discard the pulp and spices. Serve warm.
