Creamy, nutty, filling, satisfying, accidentally vegan (!!) and super quick to make, this PB & J porridge is the breakfast of dreams. 100% my jam!

Ingredients

  • 50 g (gf) porridge oats
  • 200 l hot water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp berry jam
  • 2 tsp peanut butter
  • extra toppings (chocolate buttons, nuts, sesame seeds...)


Method

  1. Place the oats in a jar. Add in the maple syrup and vanilla extract, then pour in the hot water and mix. Let sit for 5 minutes until the oats absorb the water.
  2. Mix one tsp of peanut butter through the porridge. Taste and adjust the sweetness level if needed.
  3. Top with the jam, remaining peanut butter and extra toppings if using.
