  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tbs butter
  • 1 desiccated coconut


  1. Mix butter and sweetened condensed milk and stir vigorously over medium-low heat.
  2. Cook the mixture, stirring constantly until it starts to thicken. One way to check it is to run a spatula in the middle of the cream and if it takes a while for the mixture to come together it is ready. It usually takes me 10-12 minutes, but this depends on your stove and if you're cooking with gas or electricity.
  3. Add 1 & 1/4 cup of coconut and mix.
  4. Pour into a dish and let cool to room temperature for few minutes then put it chill a few minutes in the fridge to chill.
  5. Remove from fridge and with a teaspoon roll out balls of the mixture.
  6. Roll on the remaining coconut.
  7. Keep in the refrigerator and bring them out before serving.
