Ingredients

  • 4 tsp Green tea (Kashmiri)
  • 1 cinnamon (")
  • 2 pods Cardamom (- crushed)
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 ginger (" - piece)
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • pinch saffron ((mixed in water))
  • 8 almonds (- blanched and chopped)


Method

  1. Add cinnamon, ginger, cloves and cardamom to water and bring to a boil.
  2. Pour water over the tea and leave to infuse over a very low flame for about 10minutes. Add sugar and mix well.
  3. Strain the tea and add saffron water along with chopped almonds.
  4. Serve hot.
