I love Syn Free French Toast. Totally indulgent, sweet and, well, amazing! And it's easier than you think to make a syn free version!! The perfect weekend breakfast.

  • 120 g wholemeal bread ((( healthy extra b )))
  • 4 eggs (large)
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1½ tbsp Granulated Sweetener (or regular sweetener)


  1. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Mix in the cinnamon and sukrin gold until the mixture turns a caramel brown.
  2. Place a large frying pan on a low heat and spray with Frylight. Place a slice of bread into the egg mixture, flip it over, press down gently and then place in the frying pan. Do this for the remaining slices of bread. Fry until golden on one side (takes around 2 minutes) and then turn and do the same for the other side.
  3. Serve warm with your choice of fruit, fromage frais and syrup!
