Did you know oatmeal is a healthy on-the-go breakfast choice? Make this overnight berry oatmeal recipe for your next breakfast. Super easy!

Total time

0 minutes

  • 5 tbs rolled oats
  • 150 ml milk of choice
  • 1 handful handful of berries (I used frozen blueberries & strawberries)
  • 1 brown sugar
  • 1 tsp of roughly chopped dark chocolate

  1. Put rolled oats into a container and add milk. Close the container and shake well. Refrigerate over night.
  2. In the morning, pour your oatmeal out of the container and into a bowl. If needed, add more milk or other liquid.
  3. Place your berries in a pan and sprinkle with sugar. Heat up to medium and stir constantly until the berries start to liquify (just a couple of minutes). You can help the process by mashing them lightly. If you use frozne berries, it is going to take a bit more for the berries to thaw.
  4. Pour your berry mixture over the oatmeal and top with chopped dark chocolate.
