Sprouted Wheat Crackers

These crispy and light Sprouted Wheat Crackers are perfect to eat as is or dipped in hummus or spread or cheese. These pizza flavored crackers are a hit.
Ingredients
- 1 cups Sprouted Wheat flour
- 15 oz. can black beans
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 15 oz. can black beans
- 15 oz. can black beans
- 1 tsp Pizza seasoning (a mixture of dried oregano, basil, parsley, onion and garlic)
- for topping: olive oil
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt and pizza seasoning. Rub in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse sand.
- Add the milk and mix until everything comes together. Knead for a minute until a smooth dough forms. Cover and set the dough aside for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Divide the dough into 2 equal pieces. Work with 1 piece at a time -- roll it out on a parchment paper as thinly as possible, 1/16" or thinner. Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 1~2" squares.
- Brush the dough with olive oil and sprinkle some salt or pizza seasoning on top.
- Transfer the parchment paper onto a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12~15 minutes or until the crackers are crispy and golden.
