Salsa! It's taking every ounce of self control right now to not just eat all of the salsa out of the jar, and skip all of my meals for the day. This Spicy Garden Salsa
6 medium garden tomatoes and/or tomatillos, stemmed
1 large or 2 small jalapenos (stemmed and seeded)
1 small bell pepper (stemmed and seeded)
½ large red onion (peeled)
3 cloves garlic (peeled)
1 cup loosely packed fresh cilantro leaves
juice of 2 medium limes
½ tsp coarse salt
¼-½ tsp. ground black pepper
pinch granulated sugar (optional)
Method
Place all ingredients in a large food processor bowl. Pulse until desired consistency is reached. Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary. Place in airtight container for up to 7 days.
