Total time

25 minutes

  • 4 honey crisp apples, skin-on (diced)
  • 4 bartlett pears, skin-on (diced)
  • ¾ cup water
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • pinch coarse salt

  1. Place apples, pears, water, maple syrup, vanilla extract and salt in the bowl of the Instant Pot and secure the lid on sealing. Set the Instant Pot on high pressure for 12 minutes. Once it beeps, let it sit about 10 minutes, until pressure seal opens. Remove the lid. Use an immersion blender to blend about half of the applesauce, so it resembles chunky applesauce. Place in containers, let cool, then refrigerate.
